Missed Dose

In case if you missed a dosage of this drug, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near to the time of your next dose, skip the missed dosage and resume your dosing schedule. Do not utilize one more dosage to make up for a missed dose. If you are habitually missing doses, consider setting the alarm or requesting a family member to remember you.

Please consult your physician or doctor to discuss changes in your dosing planning or a new plan to compensate for missed doses, if you have missed too many dosages recently.

OverDose

Do not take an extra dose than the prescribed dosage. Taking more medication will not increase your symptoms, but they may cause poisoning or severe adverse effects. if you realize that you or anyone else may have overdosed on Entavir 0.5mg, please go to the nearest hospital or nursing home. Take a medication box, container, or label with you to help physician with the required information.

Do not give your drugs to other people even if you know that they have the exact same condition or it seems that they may have a similar situation. This may lead to overdosage.

• Worsening of hepatitis b infection

• Grow levels of liver enzymes in the blood

General Instructions

Tell your pharmacist if you have any history of heart, liver and kidney diseases.

Inform the pharmacist if you are taking any other drugs, OTC medications, herbal products or nutritional supplements.

Inform your physician about the usage of Entecavir before any scheduled surgery.

When not to use?

Avoid taking Entavir tablet if you are allergic to Entecavir or similar drugs.

You are advised not to take this medicine if it has passed the expiry date of the medication printed on the pack.

General warnings

This tablet does not prevent spreading of hepatitis B infection through sexual contact.

Let your specialist know before he prescribes you this medication if you have a history of liver problems, HIV infection, any kidney problems or taking any other prescription or non-prescription medicine.

Do not stop taking the drug abruptly unless instructed by the pharmacist. Suddenly stopping the medicine may cause the illness to return.
