Nevilast 30 Tablet (Stavudine/Lamivudine/Nevirapine)

Nevilast 30mg tablet contains the active ingredient Lamivudine + Nevirapine + Stavudine. It is a combination of three antiretroviral medicines. Lamivudine and Stavudine belong to the class of medications called nucleoside/nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitors. Nevirapine belongs to the class of medication called non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. It is used to treat HIV-1 infection

Do not take Nevilast 30mg tablet if you are allergic to Lamivudine + Nevirapine + Stavudine, or any of the other ingredients or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Inform your physician if you have liver problems, hepatitis infection, kidney diseases, or undergoing dialysis. Notify your physician if you have any active skin conditions such as rash.

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)

Nevilast 30mg tablet is a combination of three anti-retroviral medicines. Lamivudine and stavudine tablet works by inhibiting the reverse transcriptase enzyme of HIV, restricting the replication of the viral genome, and reducing the production of new infectious viral particles. It mainly interferes with reverse transcription and inhibits the spread of HIV. Nevirapine binds directly to reverse transcriptase (RT) and blocks RNA-dependent and DNA-dependent polymerase activities by causing disruption of the enzyme

Inform your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, nutritional and vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications interact with Nevilast 30mg tablet and reduce its effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects

• Protect the medicine from light and excessive moisture.
• Keep the medicine out of reach of children and pets
• If you forgot to take the tablet, take your next dose at the scheduled time. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

It is an orally available prescription drug. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of Nevilast 40mg tablet based on the disease condition and other factors such as body weight and age. Always take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Take the tablet at the same time, with or without food. Do not break, chew, crush, or break the tablet. Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water
